Amazon use shitty link now.
Argh! The only reason I've been spending more with Amazon than I could pay elsewhere is that they didn't use Shitty Link.
Way to go to ruin a business. Use Shitty Link! Quote:

Oh noes!! That's a terrible decision
The only way I'll use a company that uses shitty link is if they'll deliver to work, then the post room can sign for it; never had an order pretend to be delivered that way. |

If you have problems with a courier company do what i do, arrange to collect it, quick phone call once you know its on the way is all you need, course I never had to travel far to get it so...

Pwned Again! |
At least they actually reach your front door. When they ‘deliver’ to me they normally just throw a ‘missed you note’ at the car port doors at the back of the house as they drive past. W*nke*s.

WAITING FOR DATA.. |
Last amazon thing I had came from royal mail - it was a big full colour hardback starwars book a relative bought for son's birthday. It came in the standard amazon cardboard packing but wasn't shrink rapped.
The posty for some reason pushed it under the side gate that goes to our back garden but didn't leave a note. It then sat there for 2 days getting rained on till someone noticed

As the mrs pointed out to me we've always had exceptional delivery from Home Delivery Network when Amazon sent stuff through them - early delivery or leave it with the next door neighbour if we were out. It'd be a real shame if shittylink have won the contract by undercutting

Royal mail, Home delivery network, or carrier pidgeon are all fine with me. Shitty-Link...no thanks. I'll just shop elsewhere.

City link suck. badly. I used them once for a return to base PC repair a few years back. They lost my PC and when they eventually found it and returned it 5 weeks later, it looked as if they had played a game of football with it. No compensation, nothing.
They are the last company i'd ever use to get anything transported. In fact, I'd rather not use them at all.

Guess what. I got a card through the door today.....
Before I do any more orders online I'm going to check the courier service used and choose from the firms which do not use Shitty Link

I never had any issues with them. When my friend and I used to order from "Overclockers" they'd dispatch the items locally via City Link. And because OC only deliver to your home address (they're funny about that) we were always at work, so we left a note for the driver on his door with the work address (which is at the local industrial site, where he had to travel anyway) and he'd always try home first, then come along to our work with the goods. He was a nice chap, went out of his way.
Of course that's one delivery driver, not the company. |
